Map Guy
This site is for my other major graphic design specialty: cartography. The main features of this site are the Featured map on the home page (which changes periodically), a Flash-based portfolio which runs automatically, and a Downloads page which features free, downloadable maps.

GoatMan Hollow
This site is for a haunted house in Hyattsville, Maryland. The story is based on an urban legend called the "Goatman," and the haunt is based on an extensive back story. The site features an interactive story presentation and interactive map.

Salem Book Design
This site is for a designer who creates book covers and interior layouts. The main features of the site are a Flash-based portfolio of cover designs, and a discussion of "package deal" book publishers. The client wanted a clean, "literary" look for the site, but also wanted to provide useful information to book authors about the design process.
Expedition Society
The purpose of this site is to encourage children to read and to stimulate their interest in the world. The theme is based on a fictional group of explorers who travel the world looking for interesting places and experiences. The client wanted the site to have a realistic look, with photos, maps, and stories about different adventures.

Shady Knoll Inn
This is the site we build in my Web Coding class at the Forsyth County Library (a ten-week class). The Shady Knoll Inn is a fictional bed-and-breakfast. My goals for the site were for it to be visually appealing, to use the essential HTML elements and basic CSS coding, and to be easy for students to modify for their own use. The class begins with a blank page and builds the site over ten weeks.
